Bitvocation is an unfunded passion project, dedicated to providing valuable resources and insights for individuals interested in pursuing careers in Bitcoin. With a focus on education and accessibility, we aim to empower our audience with the knowledge and tools they need to find their first job in the industry.

We are seeking a skilled Website Creator to develop a simple, user-friendly website tailored to our specific needs. Besides a passion for Bitcoin, the ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of WordPress (or other) design principles, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality digital experiences.

The ideal candidate will also have read what the BTX is all about here, and will indicate their understanding and agreement with it, by mentioning BTX next to their name in the application form.

Design and Development:

• Create a simple, visually appealing and functional website that can host article resources, digital products as well as access to a database in the future
• Customize themes, templates, and plugins to achieve desired design and functionality.
• Implement intuitive navigation menus and site structure
• Ensure responsiveness and compatibility across various devices and browsers.
• Maintain scalability and performance optimization to accommodate future growth in traffic and content volume

Landing Page Creation:

• Design and develop engaging landing pages to capture leads and promote key offerings.
• Implement effective calls-to-action (CTAs) and forms to encourage user interaction and conversion.

• Proven experience in website design and development, with a strong portfolio showcasing past projects.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other relevant web technologies.
• Familiarity with SEO best practices and tools for keyword research, on-page optimization, and analytics.
• Excellent communication skills and professionalism, reliability and responsiveness
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work within established timelines.

• This is a remote position with flexible working hours, as long as you can have the occassional meeting during day time Central/Eastern Europe.
• The initial focus will be on creating a simple yet impactful website with basic features (replacing the current bitvocation.com website), setting it up for more elaborate enhancements in the future.
• Hosting infrastructure is already in place, allowing the candidate to focus solely on design and development tasks. Ideally we'd like to go with Wordpress, but can be convinced otherwise.
